Online Catalog

Find, check the status of, and even hold books at the Calabasas Library Online Catalog

To access your library account:
 - Click on Calabasas Library Online Catalog
 - Click on My Info
 - Enter your library card number
 - Enter your last name as the password.

To place a hold on an item
 - Open up the record of the item you want
 - Click on E-mail request
 - Fill out the hold request form and send.

Infotrac, Proquest, and Reference USA.  Access to journals, magazines, newspapers, and business references.

   
Pathfinders

Library Pathfinders are information maps that lead patrons to relevant sources on a particular topic.  Our print and computer resources include both materials available in the library and online resources such as databases and recommended websites.
   

Audio Books

We now have downloadable audio books available at NetLibrary. F
irst time users MUST come into the Library to sign up for an account.  If you have an account, click the link to log in.  For more information, please call or come into the Library. 
(Must have a City of Calabasas Library card to participate)

BOOK CLUB!
The Thursday night book club at the Calabasas Library!
July 9. 2009 at 6:30 p.m.

 

We are reading The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Dias and Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson.

Read one or both books and stop by to pick up your summer

Join the 2009 Summer Reading Program
at the Calabasas Library!
JUNE 30 - AUGUST 16

Read books and come into the library each week for incentives. We will have drawings at the end of the summer for great prizes.

Special events for elementary school students – Kindergarten through the 5th grade.

All shows are on Wednesdays at 4pm.

July 8   Mad Science – An exciting show with interactive demonstrations.
July 15   Chamber Music Express with Paul Stein – Get inspired through music as Paul entertains us with stories and his violin and viola.
July 22   Nature of Wildworks – We will meet some of the native animals from our state.
July 29   An American Cowboy with Ken Frawley – Ken will perform songs and share stories about the Old West. An interactive show full of audience participation.
August 5   Pulse Drumming with Budhi Harlow – Budhi will perform and share his enthusiasm for West African style drumming.
August 12   The Magic of Tony Daniels– He will perform his entertaining and comical magic show!

SPECIAL EVENT!!
Sunday, August 16 at 6pm
in the amphitheatre

Dan Crow will perform to end the Summer Reading Program on a great note! The amphitheatre is located behind the Calabasas Library. Limited seating available but no tickets are required. Click HERE for more details.

Library services are provided to Calabasas residents. The Library was taken over from Los Angeles County by the City of Calabasas and officially became the Calabasas Library on July 11, 1998.  The Calabasas Library is located at 200 Civic Center Way (map).
